Who Enforces The Laws On Arizona’s Waterways?

Arizona’s boaters are required to comply with the boating laws in place and follow any direction given by law enforcement. You can learn more about Arizona’s boating laws by taking the BOATsmart! Arizona Boating Safety Course. There are several boating law authorities in the state of Arizona:

• Officers of the Arizona Game and Fish Department
• County deputy sheriffs, municipal officers, park rangers, and all peace officers of the state.
• The U.S. Coast Guard (on federal waters).
